My reference for this little seascape was one of many photos I took at sunrise along the coast here in Myrtle Beach back in 2008, and this was an experimental oil painting on the primed textured side of a masonite panel. The texture gives it an abstract softness and helped me keep it much looser than I normally would. Thanks for viewing.
