Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Blue Ridge Memory is just that - painted from memories of trips along the Blue Ridge Parkway and those wonderful views of the distant mountains beyond the trees. The original painting is painted on 9 X 12 inch canvas mounted on tagboard and is coated with GamVar varnish for protective shine.
